Saturday Mornings host Glenn van Zutphen and co-host, award-winning author Neil Humphreys are joined by Noelani Waters, Bee and Nature Advocacy Lead at Comvita discussing how urgently important bees are to our environment and to humans: honey bees contribute to over one-third of global food production! We all have a reason to protect bees… if we want to eat. In Singapore alone, there are 132 species of bees keeping healthy our lychee, durian, longan, other crops, and flowers. But bees are under threat from pesticides and people who view them as pests. Be amazed at the information that Noelani shares.
